Last trip to Ohio for the year, part 2

Wednesday was the first day since we arrived that we actually had nothing planned.  Unlike every day since where we have had things schedule everyday.  So we headed out in the truck and ended up in Amish Country.
Beautiful morning sky

A little Selfie Shot to start the day, must start taking more of these so we have something to choose from for next years Christmas card.

We hadn't really started out to go to Amish Country but on our way to Cuyahoga Valley we stopped by for some cheese and some lunch.  We stopped at Guggissburg Cheese and then stopped in the town of Berlin a got a bite to eat.  After lunch we headed over to Cuyahoga Valley in hopes of ending up at Brandywine Falls.  Once again though "Gabby" our GPS lead us through to really "off" roads, but we have the truck which handled the roads just fine and besides I was able to get some good photos.

We don't have this kind of scenery near us in NC.

Oh a purple house to match my purple hair.

Kind of looks as if the Grinch is holding up the front porch.

Speaking of porches, these stairs intrigued me.

Amish wheat fields

Looks like a newer high tech buggy

Loved this statue at a garden shop

This one literally galloped right up next to the truck, stopped long enough for me to get this shot and then ran off.

Moo

Then there was this one who just looked at me as if they were saying "take the picture already".

After a quick tour through Amish country we headed over to the Cuyahoga Falls area, heading to Brandywine Falls.  It was a beautiful place, but unfortunately the access to the lower part of the falls was closed off for the season, but was still able to get some pretty good shots of the falls.

A shot taken at the visitors center.

Views from along the pathway to the falls.

Traffic and the beautiful night sky.

Thursday too was a little laid back.  We did a few things in the morning and then headed over to some Goodwill Stores.  I was able to find Mike 4 brand new shirts, Jacob some snow pants, that his mother had been asking for and a couple of shirts for me.  That evening we enjoyed a beautiful dinner with an old high school friend of mine and before had enjoyed a spectacular rainbow..  It was such a great day.

Martin Dean, Tim Huffman, myself and Mike.  Such a good looking bunch of men.
