Well we had great thoughts of camping along the way, so when we reached Cody, Wyoming we decided to pitch our tents at the Wild Bill Camp site. We found a beautiful spot near a river. Soon came to find out that just before the river was a swamp area. The scenery was beautiful but the mosquitos were ferocious. Literally you were in your tent by 6:00 p.m. just to keep the mosquitos away. But it was a great experience and we were able to cook and enjoy some great weather.
The 5 of us slept in these two tents. Plenty of room.
Hanging out enjoying the view.
Zach and I decided it was time to color for a while.
Up river from the campsite one evening.
One morning Gary and I were up early, which is normal for us since we are both early risers. So we went for a walk. He helped me pick up some drift wood.
My favorite photo from the campsite.
Last night there the sky was spectacular
Unfortunately or fortunately however you want to look at it this was the only time that Mike and I would do any camping. The heat in other locations was just too much for all of us. So cheap hotels it is.
