Miles and Jacobs Day

On Tuesday we spent the day with the two older grandsons, Miles and Jacob.  What a busy fun filled day it was.  Despite the heat we had a wonderful time with these two little guys.

Playing out on the swing set out in the yard.

Sometimes you just need to make a crazy face

After playing in the yard for a while we headed over to Krispie Kreme to watch them make donuts and of course enjoy a sweet treat.

This picture above says it all!

In order to burn off those donuts we headed over to Blacklick Woods Metro Park to play on the outside equipment.  It was a warm morning the heat didn't stop these two from enjoying all the fun things to do.

Miles crossing the bars on his own.

This is a proud face for accomplishing the bars.

Not so sure what this face was all about, but it's still pretty cute.

Then there were the swings, talk about faces, what's up with Jacobs?

I hope these two always get along so well.

Jacob loved climbing through the tunnels

The slide was no match for Mr. Miles

Jacob tried this one with a little help from Papa

Hmm now how do we get around one another.

Miles had no problem handling this one.

After working up quite a sweat we headed home to take a dip in the pool.

Just the thing to do on a warm morning.  Even Papa and Nana joined in on the swim.

Time to refuel up, so  a trip to McDonalds for some lunch was in order.

Then it was home to do a little painting.  This time without shirts, in order not to get our shirts dirty

After painting all the guys took a well deserved rest.  Even Papa laid down for a while.  Afterwards was time for a little creating with playdough.

All the guys playing at the table.

They worked together to create what they called "buildingopolis"

"Buildingopolis" even stayed erect after little brother Brice came home.  It was a wonderful day spent with the boys.
